This program is similar to the Community Participation Program but it is for 25
to 54 year olds that are currently not receiving but could greatly benefit from
a community access style program.
The aim is to encourage independence, build every day life skills, foster
community and social participation and to promote involvement in recreational
and leisure pursuits.
Participants develop an individual plan that details the activities and
interests participants want from the program.
We need to apply for this program providing evidence of need and a budget for
outcomes, this is prepared at the Elouera Head Office in consultation with you.

Transition to Work
Many School Leavers will be offered transition to work. This is a three day per
week program that has the aim to assist the individual gain the skills and
confidence to enter the work force.
We also can provide these supports with a program that is developed in
consultation with the individual and their family.
Activities can include work experience at one of our businesses or other
workplaces, training, worksite visits and some community access activities.
If work is not achieved in two years the individual will be rolled over into a
Community Participation program. If TTW is offered but it is felt this is not
the right program, we can assist with an appeal.
